Villa Despoina is located on the highest spot of the mountain and can accommodate up to 5 people. Despite its country character doesn’t lack any modern amenities. Τhe astonishing view of the mountain, small villages, the green plain and a bit further the sea can be seen from all the spots around the villa. The villa has a comfortable dining area and a living room with a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas and electric cooker, electric oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms: a master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with shower booth, a double bedroom with two single beds and a single bedroom. The two bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub. The villa is surrounded by big terraces, gardens, a private swimming pool and a patio. In front of the living room there is a big veranda with exquisite view.

Location
Villa Kreta is one of the first establishments of independent villas in Crete in the 1990s. The idea was a result of the owners’ wish to offer a high quality quiet vacation away from the city‘s noise with all the modern amenities. The estate is located in Heraklion, on a hill with views of the Ayios Sillas plain, and Giouhtas the imposing mountain that is found on the South-West of Knossos. It is an ideal place for relaxation at the countryside but at the same time the capital city Heraklion is only 15 minutes away by car. The location of the estate at the center of the island makes the access to historical monuments, beaches, cities and villages easy and fast. Nikos Kazantzakis international airport is 15 minutes away by car and Heraklion port 20 minutes away.
