Tsoutsouva Beach

Tsoutsouras Beach is a charming, tranquil shore 63 km south of Heraklion Town. Since ancient times, its waters have been considered therapeutic, and swimming in them is highly recommended for those suffering from musculoskeletal problems.

The coast is covered in thick sand and pebbles and has a few umbrellas, but you can sit under a tamarisk and enjoy the natural cool and shade it provides. The light blue waters, the vibrant colors of the greenery, and the rocks surrounding the beach compose a lovely, calming landscape. From the main beach, you can go on foot and discover smaller, more secluded shores.
