Description

The Transfiguration Monastery  near Varipetro, Chania, Crete, is a modern Greek Orthodox monastery built on a rocky hill below the ruins of Kastellos. Inaugurated in 2012, it offers peaceful surroundings, panoramic views, and spiritual retreats, and celebrates the feast of the Transfiguration of Christ every August 6.
