Description
Stalida Beach is a sandy shore 26 kilometers southeast of Heraklion Town, right before the beaches of Malia. In fact, the urban networks of Malia and Stalida have become integrated, with Stalida serving as a more affordable appendage of Malia. This makes it a popular resort for families. The beach is well organized with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as cafes and bars. A number of trees line the shore, including the trademark of the island, the Cretan Palm tree, which is somewhat uncommon in northern Heraklion.
