The Stagakis Cretan Lyra Workshop is a smal exhibition of what the Stagakis family has ccomplished over the last 65 years.
You can listen to traditional Cretan music from local players and try out their musical instruments.
The Stagakis family has made more than 4.500 lyra instruments to date. Their work is know for their amazing sound output and their beuatiful designs. If you happpen tobe at the museum whe Manolis (the owner)and his son are there, you may be invited to watch them do what they do. creating the best memories.
