Description

Skaloti is a traditional village part of Sfakia town and is located almost 6 km east of Fragokastello very close to the sea. The 2 km gorge of Skaloti which exits at the village is known to be accommodating the largest number of wild birds in Europe. The village is built among olive trees while its almost 80 residents are mostly farmers, olive oil producers and also work on tourism.
