Santorinios Gorge is a small, lesser-known gorge located near Heraklion, Crete, specifically close to the village of Fodele and the Agios Panteleimonas Monastery. It's characterized by its dense vegetation and numerous small lakes, making it a challenging but rewarding hike. The gorge is known for its unique soil, which resembles that of Santorini, and for the remains of an old watermill near its entrance.
