Rethymnon

Rethymno is a port city on the northern coast of the Greek island of Crete. It is the third-largest city on the island after Heraklion and Chania and, as a municipality of the same name, forms the center of the Rethymno regional unit.

Along with Heraklion, Rethymno is one of the two locations of the University of Crete, hosts a public hospital, and was also a port of call for ferries from Piraeus until October 2008.
