Polirizos Beach

Almost 47 km southwest of Rethymno and next to Rodakino’s main beach, Polyrizos Beach is located.

Polyrizos, with its beautiful sea and caves, lies among olive trees and is usually exposed to the island’s south winds.

On the west side of the beach sits a big hill named Kastelos; on the other side you can see small coves, rocks, and large tamarisk trees.

Access: Polyrizos Beach is about 2 km from Rodakino Beach, which is roughly 45 km southwest of Rethymno. Driving to Polyrizos, you pass Korakas Beach and continue along the sea until you reach Polyrizos village.
