Monument of the Fallen in Tzermiado

The Monument of the Fallen in Tzermiado is a stone-built war memorial located in the heart of the village square. It features a solid stone pedestal topped with a sculpted flame—symbolizing eternal memory. An inscribed marble plaque lists the names of local residents who died between 1912 and 1922, including during the Balkan Wars and World War I. Enclosed by a low iron fence and flanked by a Greek flag, it stands as a dignified tribute to communal sacrifice.
