Marmara Beach

The beautiful beach of Marmara is located almost 90 km south of Chania, in the area of Sfakia.

The beach which is right at the exit of Aradaina gorge, has small dark pebbles and crystal blues waters. It is surrounded by white impressive rocks that shape many caves that the visitors can explore while swimming.

You can access this isolated beach in many ways. First, you can cross the beautiful gorge of Aradaina, through a path that lasts almost 4 hours. Otherwise you can walk the 1.5 hour path from Loutro. Or finally, you can visit Marmara by boat that leaves every day from the port of Loutro.
