Description

The lake of the Lasithi Plateau is a shallow, seasonal reservoir in eastern Crete, nestled at 850 m above sea level. Surrounded by windmills and farmland, it collects rainwater and mountain runoff to irrigate the plateau’s fertile fields, blending natural beauty with traditional agriculture.
