Description

The Kourtaliotiko Gorge is a beautiful gorge in Crete, 2.5 km long with cliffs up to 600 meters high. The Kourtaliotis River flows through it.

It starts near Koxare and ends at Preveli Lake. Many visitors walk through the gorge and swim in its cool waters. It is also home to rare birds of prey.
