Kourtaliotiko Farangi

The Kourtaliotiko Gorge, located 22 km south of Rethymno in Crete, is an impressive natural attraction with rock walls reaching up to 250 meters in height. You can either drive through it or explore the 3 km long gorge on foot. The Kourtaliotis River, which originates from five springs at the foot of the Agios Nikolaos chapel, flows through the gorge and eventually empties into the sea at Preveli.
