Korakas Beach

Korakas Beach is on the southern coast of Rethymno, about 2 km south of the well-known village of Rodakino. It is a long beach with shallow, clear waters, covered with pebbles and sand.

According to locals, its name comes from the rocks to the east of the beach that once resembled a beak. The beach has a Blue Flag and is well organized. In the surrounding area there are cafes, taverns, and small hotels.
