Description
The Imbros Gorge is a 7-mile gorge in Crete that was used by Allied soldiers to escape to Egypt during World War II. Today it is an easy and popular hike, less demanding than Samaria Gorge, with a small entrance fee, a narrow rocky path, and a duration of about two to three hours. It is best to start early to avoid the heat.
