Description
Ethia forest, also known as the forest of Ethia, is an artificial forest primarily composed of pine trees, located near the village of Ethia in Heraklion, Crete. It's situated approximately 55 kilometers from Heraklion city, at an altitude of 740 meters on the slopes of the Asfentilia hill. The forest connects the village of Ethia with the Ahentria mountain via a scenic path, and it also features the more adventurous Ethia gorge, which requires specialized equipment.
