Contemporary Art Museum of Crete

The Contemporary Art Museum in Crete is located beneath the Venetian Castle. It has a permanent collection of approximately 700 works of contemporary Greek artists, which covers a wide range of the contemporary Greek art world from 1950 to date.

It has also developed significant activities in the field of periodistic exhibitions at local, national and international levels in co-operation with numerous institutions at home and abroad.

Since 2009, it has occupied a state-of-art exhibition space spanning over 1000 square meters.
