Description
The Anidri Gorge is a small but picturesque gorge in southwestern Crete, starting near the village of Anidri and leading down toward Paleochora. The trail is relatively short and considered easy to moderate, making it a relaxed hike for most visitors. Along the way, you’ll pass rocky terrain, scattered vegetation, and a small, charming chapel hidden in the gorge. It’s especially enjoyable as a quiet alternative to busier gorges, often ending with the option to reach the sea near Paleochora.
