Description
Agios Panteleimonas Beach is a quiet, unspoilt beach located near the village of Istron in the Lasithi region of eastern Crete.
The beach has a natural, almost wild character, with a mix of fine pebbles and sand and clear turquoise waters. It is set in an open bay, so there is often a gentle sea breeze, making it comfortable even on hot summer days. The wide shoreline and lack of large developments create a calm and relaxed atmosphere, far from mass tourism.
Facilities here are very limited or non-existent, which makes the beach ideal for visitors looking for peace, nature and authenticity. It is perfect for swimming, quiet walks along the shore and photography. Visitors are advised to bring their own water, sun umbrella and other essentials. Agios Panteleimonas Beach is an excellent choice for those who want to experience a more natural and less commercial side of Crete.
