At a distance of 26 km east of Heraklion Town, lies the picturesque Agios Georgios Sarantaris Chapel. It’s located on a hill adorned with trees and offers an endless view of the cyan sea and the stunning sunset.

Inside the small, white chapel, you will find a few seats and several icons, including those of Saint George, Saint Anthony, Saint Nicholas, and Saint Irene. The lovely setting is ideal for weddings, which are often hosted there.
