Agia Marina

Situated in Analipsi within the Municipality of Hersonissos, along the coastal edge of the settlement, stands the Church of Agia Marina. Belonging to the parish of the Ascension of the Saviour of the Holy Metropolis of Petra and Hersonissos, this church was inaugurated in 2022.  It's worth noting that Cretans hold a special reverence and affection for Agia Marina. On the eve and the day of her feast, which falls on 16th and 17th July, festivities are organised in numerous areas across the island, drawing a large number of devout believers.
