Description

50 km southeast of Chania, at Kares village, is located the impressive church of Agios Emmanouil and Ioannou. The church, which is surrounded by beautiful mountainous wooded scenery, was built in 1961 by the archpriest Isidoros Rousochatzakis. Access to the church is easy through the main road of Vryson – Chora Sfakion.
