Description

Kournas Beach is a wide sandy beach located on the northern coast of Crete, close to Lake Kournas and the town of Rethymno. The beach features soft golden sand and clear blue water, with beautiful mountain views in the background. It is well organised, offering sunbeds, umbrellas and various water activities. The sea has a gentle, gradual entrance, making it suitable for families with children as well as for relaxing swimming. Thanks to its natural scenery and convenient location, Kournas Beach is one of the most attractive beaches in the Rethymno region.
