Description
Holy Trinity Church (Agia Triada), Anogia is a small Greek Orthodox chapel located near the village of Anogia, on the slopes of Mount Psiloritis (Mount Ida) in central Crete. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and reflects the simple, whitewashed architectural style typical of rural Cretan chapels, with stone details and a tiled roof.
Set in a quiet mountainous landscape, the church is closely connected to local religious traditions and village life. It is mainly visited by residents, especially on religious feast days, but also attracts visitors who wish to experience the spiritual and cultural heritage of inland Crete. Its peaceful surroundings and elevated location make it a calm stop for reflection while exploring the Anogia area.
