Description
Triopetra Beach is a long stretch of sand on Crete’s southern coast, famous for the three striking rock formations that inspired its name (“three rocks”). A rocky point divides the area into two parts: a smaller, more sheltered bay called Mikri Triopetra (or Koumado), and a wider, more open beach known as Megali Triopetra (or Chatzi). Visitors will find amenities such as tavernas and sunbeds, though the beach can be quite windy at times.
