Petres Beach

Petres Beach is located 12 km west of Rethymno Town. This small, rocky beach was named after nearby Petres Gorge and tends to be quiet, as it isn’t very popular with tourists.

Petres is only partly organized on the northern side, with a few umbrellas and sunbeds. It features dark blue, crystalline waters, and its rocky seabed is ideal for snorkeling. The coast is lined with golden sand and framed by beautiful rocks and greenery.

In the area, you’ll find some facilities, including rooms for rent and restaurants serving fresh fish and local specialties.
