Agia Galini Beach

A fairly well-organized beach is Agia Galini Beach, located at the estuary of the Platys River. Since 1960, many visitors have spent their holidays here, and the beach is proudly awarded a Blue Flag.

It is situated south of Crete, about 60 km from Heraklion. Visitors have plenty of options, from cafes and hotels to restaurants, to meet their recreational needs.

There are also a few underwater caves, which are ideal for exploration and fishing.
