SMARI Cretan Honey is a family-owned business dedicated to producing premium-quality honey with authentic Cretan flavor. Founded in 2012 in the mountain village of Kalamafka, Ierapetra — in the region of Lasithi, Crete — the company continues its work where it all began.

Honey has always been a cornerstone of the Cretan diet and culture, and our mission is to highlight its nutritional value and the benefits of the Cretan way of life.

Since 2017, SMARI has offered standardized, high-quality Cretan honey in three distinct varieties: Thyme Honey, Pine & Thyme Honey, and Forest Honey (mainly pine).

From hive to jar, we follow strict hygiene and quality standards, ensuring that every drop reflects the purity, taste, and tradition of Crete.
