Description
Stalida, also known as Stalis, is a resort town known for its shallow waters and family-friendly beach, lined with outdoor restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops selling ceramics and leather goods. Agios Ioannis, a small Byzantine church that dates from 1600, is on the village’s coastal road. The Bulgarian path hiking trail leads from Stalida to the quaint mountain village of Mochos, passing through a rugged valley.
