Description
Loutro Coast is a remote stretch of shoreline where small pebble beaches and clear, deep waters create a rich coastal habitat. The rocky seabed and underwater cliffs support marine life such as fish, sponges, sea urchins, and occasional octopuses. Above the shore, steep, dry slopes host sparse Mediterranean vegetation, adapted to heat and salty winds. The quiet, boat-access nature of the area makes it a refuge for seabirds, which nest along the cliffs and forage offshore. With minimal development, these beaches maintain a largely undisturbed natural ecosystem.
