Therisos Gorge Waterfalls

Description
The waterfalls in Therisos Gorge are small, seasonal cascades formed by mountain runoff from the White Mountains (Lefka Ori). They appear mainly in winter and early spring, when rainfall is high and water flows through the narrow limestone gorge.
These waterfalls are not large or permanently flowing; instead, they show up as short drops, trickles over rock steps, and temporary streams along the roadside and deeper parts of the gorge. In summer, most of them dry out completely, leaving the gorge mainly as a scenic drive through steep rock walls and vegetation.
