Tombs of the Venizelos family

The route starts from Chania and moves along the coast towards the park where the tombs of the charismatic Greek politician and seven-time Prime Minister of Greece, Eleftherios Venizelos, and his son Sophocles, are located. This is one of the most popular spots offering a panoramic view of Chania, before the final destination at the Flora and Fauna Preservation Park and the return to the city.

Please note that this is largely an urban walk along busy roads, not a traditional nature hike.
