The Archaeological Museum of Kissamos is located in the town of Kissamos in western Crete and is housed in a restored Venetian-Turkish monument. The museum showcases the rich history of the Kissamos region, with exhibits spanning from prehistoric times to the Roman period.

Visitors can explore an impressive collection of mosaics, pottery, sculptures, and everyday objects that highlight the cultural and economic importance of ancient Kissamos (ancient Kydonia’s western harbor). One of the highlights is the beautifully preserved Roman floor mosaics depicting mythological scenes.
