The Holy Monastery of our Theotokos of Halevi

The Holy Monastery of our Lady Theotokos of Halevi (also spelled Chalevi) is a 16th-century Venetian-era monastery located approximately 6 kilometers south of Rethymno, on the road leading to the village of Chromonastiri. Once a significant religious center, it is now primarily an abandoned complex where only the principal church remains standing amidst ruins.
